Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, commercial strategy, or company building, ideally within FMCG/CPG industry
- Strong intuition for cultural differences and mindsets across markets, experienced in navigating them
- Deep understanding of commercial planning, distribution & marketing channels, expertise in quantitative & qualitative consumer research methods
- Analytically strong and highly proficient with data visualization and advanced modeling
- Comfortable operating in a global or multi-market environment, understanding local realities
- Exceptional communicator, able to distill complex data into compelling stories to influence senior leadership
Tasks
- Diagnose performance differences across markets, channels, and time
- Identify key levers driving or blocking topline growth
- Translate global strategies into market-specific commercial plans
- Make explicit trade-offs on localization, scaling, and stopping initiatives
- Challenge and influence resource allocation across markets
- Recommend bets and trade-offs based on expected commercial impact
- Develop models to track ROI and commercial success of local initiatives
- Identify and address structural barriers to growth
- Build scenario and forecast models to quantify commercial impact
- Support leadership decision-making under uncertainty
- Monitor competitors’ strategies and market dynamics
- Identify risks and opportunities with commercial relevance
- Track emerging consumer trends
- Quantify white spaces for new growth areas
