Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise software/services sales experience
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Track record of exceeding quotas
  • Experience building relationships with senior leaders/executives
  • Experience selling directly and through partners
  • Ability to manage a large sales pipeline
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies
  • Experience executing complex strategic sales processes
  • World class sales basics (pipe generation, territory/account planning, deal execution)
  • High accountability for actions and performance

  • Excellent instinct and judgment
  • Strong self-awareness

Tasks

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Lead account teams with Solution Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, Customer Outcomes, Marketing, and Sales Development
  • Develop short and long-term growth and renewal strategies
  • Balance tactical execution and target complex, high-value deals
  • Proactively develop unsolicited proposals
  • Align proposals with customer initiatives
  • Position Smartsheet as an enterprise software solution provider
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities
  • Track and use critical sales metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned
