- •Deep understanding of quantum gate control
- •Proven knowledge of gate-based quantum computation
- •Experimental experience with superconducting quantum bits or other modalities
- •Python development experience in a quantum control framework
- •Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- •Independent problem-solving abilities
- •Demonstrated R&D track record in quantum technologies
- •Research mentoring and leadership experience
- •Experience with version control and collaborative software development
- •Experimental experience with calibration automation or quantum processor benchmarking
- •Good written and spoken English communication skills
- •Self-driven personality in a team-oriented environment
- •PhD in Physics, Quantum Technologies, or related field
- •Post-PhD or equivalent industry experience

Tasks
- •Develop benchmarking and characterization methods for single- and two-qubit gates
- •Analyze gate fidelities and address physical limitations
- •Collaborate with design, fabrication, software, and theory teams to enhance QPU performance
- •Contribute to full quantum error correction efforts
- •Mentor junior team members and lead technical initiatives
- •Support roadmap development and R&D planning activities
- •Drive initiatives to improve performance of upcoming QPU generations
- •Shape and implement gate control, benchmarking, and characterization for superconducting quantum processors
