Requirements

  • •PhD in experimental physics, engineering, applied physics, physical chemistry, or related fields
  • •Experience in atomic, molecular, and optical physics experiments
  • •Knowledge in linear and nonlinear optics, photonics, high-frequency electronics, cryogenics, ultra-high vacuum systems, opto-electronics, electrodynamics, and/or lasers
  • •Hands-on experience with trapped-ion quantum computing or other quantum computing platforms
  • •Independent mindset and readiness to learn new software and hardware skills
  • •Fluent communication and writing skills in English
  • •Creativity and desire to work in a multicultural and interdisciplinary team
