- Design APIs and event-driven patterns
- Standardize engineering defaults to reduce risk
- Enhance observability through metrics and tracing
- Partner with cross-functional teams for delivery
- Improve the cross-stack developer experience
- Contribute to frontend-adjacent work when necessary
- Drive pragmatic technical and sequencing decisions
- Mentor senior engineers through architectural guidance
