Tasks
- Architect backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and scale distributed systems
- Design event-driven systems with Kafka and AWS SQS
- Lead technical strategy and platform architecture
- Develop high-performance REST APIs
- Integrate with external financial and payment systems
- Manage critical expense workflows
- Handle reimbursements, cash advances, mileage, per diem, and approvals
- Enhance receipt ingestion and OCR processing
- Improve automation capabilities
- Ensure platform reliability and scalability
- Maintain platform observability and operational excellence
- Champion engineering best practices
- Promote testing, CI/CD, and code quality
- Manage incident response
- Mentor and guide engineers
- Conduct technical leadership and design reviews
- Collaborate with product, operations, and finance teams
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering velocity
- Enhance system resilience and developer experience
