Single Aisle Stress Responsible(m/w/x)

Description

You will ensure aircraft safety by performing advanced structural analysis on wing surfaces. Your day-to-day involves modeling complex loads and collaborating with engineers to certify innovative aerospace designs.

Requirements

• •Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or related field
• •Experience in structural analysis and aircraft structures
• •Proficiency in NASTRAN and beneficial ABAQUS experience
• •Proficiency in Altair tools like Hypermesh
• •Knowledge of Airbus tools like ISAMI
• •Proficiency in Catia V5 and 3DX knowledge
• •Understanding of aerospace materials and structural mechanics
• •Desirable familiarity with airworthiness regulations and certification
• •Analytical skills and attention to detail
• •Excellent English and beneficial German skills
• •Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
• •Beneficial experience with Python for automation
• •Compliance risk awareness and integrity commitment

Tasks

• •Analyze aircraft moveable surfaces using analytical methods and FEA software
• •Evaluate composite and metallic materials for structural integrity
• •Develop models to predict stress, strain, and fatigue life
• •Validate structural performance under static, dynamic, and thermal loads
• •Propose design improvements based on detailed analysis results
• •Collaborate with design engineers to integrate findings into aircraft design
• •Prepare technical reports and documentation for certification evidence
• •Support the certification process with airworthiness authorities
• •Improve analysis methodologies, tools, and engineering best practices
• •Perform root cause analysis for in-service structural issues
