Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- Competencies in FEM for Aeroelastics
- Ideally competencies in flutter control
- Experience in project management
- Theoretical know-how in supplier management
- High motivation and open-minded personality
- Great sense of initiative
- Ability to deal with complex physics
- Strong communication skills
- English at negotiating level
- German language skills or willingness to learn
- Awareness of potential compliance risks
- Commitment to act with integrity
Tasks
- Generate flutter models by integrating structure, mass, and aerodynamics
- Incorporate electronic flight control system models into simulations
- Model dynamic aircraft systems with linearized flight control laws
- Ensure accurate modeling of associated actuators
- Support flight vibration tests and evaluate results
- Validate theoretical models using flight test data
- Correct models to match real-world flight results
- Perform modal analysis and vibration calculations
- Execute aeroelastic stability calculations for aircraft design
- Support aircraft optimization and certification processes
