- Experience with deepset Cloud or other enterprise NLP/search platforms
- Familiarity with dense retrieval (DPR), Question Answering, generative QA, TableQA, Summarization methods
- Understanding of RAG architectures and vector databases
- Experience with model fine-tuning via PEFT (LoRA, QLoRA) and large-scale data curation
- Contributions to open-source NLP libraries or public technical profile
- Aspiration to grow into senior expert or team lead position
Tasks
- Demonstrate Haystack and deepset Cloud functionality
- Increase NLP awareness within customer organizations
- Understand customer data, use cases, and needs
- Craft optimal solutions for clients
- Drive improvements for Haystack and deepset Cloud
- Communicate with customers to define goals
- Establish project timelines with clients
- Report engagement results to customers
- Rapidly prototype cutting-edge NLP methods
- Evaluate NLP prototypes against customer data
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of AI solutions
- Design annotation workflows for expert labelers
- Analyze labels to improve models
- Train and fine-tune large language models
- Curate and optimize large-scale data
- Contribute NLP/RAG improvements to Haystack
- Contribute to other open-source libraries
- Guide customer teams from prototype to production
- Run technical workshops and enablement sessions
- Build customer capabilities in Haystack and NLP
- Represent the customer's internal voice
- Provide domain knowledge to product teams
- Share product feedback with internal teams
- Track project performance metrics
- Communicate progress to all stakeholders
- Develop skills for future growth
- Contribute to the deepset technical blog
- Deliver conference presentations
- Enhance Haystack community presence
- Collaborate with sales and product teams
- Translate customer insights into roadmap decisions
