Description

As a Senior Quantum Engineer, you will lead innovative research projects, develop cutting-edge quantum protocols, and collaborate with diverse teams to enhance diamond-based quantum technologies. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the intellectual property.

Requirements

• •Ph.D. in Physics, Quantum Information sciences, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• •5+ years of experience in experimental metrology and quantum information science or related fields
• •Experience in building and operating advanced optical laboratory instrumentation
• •Proven track record of scientific publications and/or patents in quantum information processing
• •Excellent problem-solving skills
• •Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
• •Background PhD and/or post-doc experience in diamond/NV-based experimental research
• •Proficient in programming skills (Python, MATLAB, or similar languages)
• •Experience successfully delivering on projects as part of cross-team collaboration
• •Design, micro/nano-fabrication, and characterization of diamond-based integrated devices
• •Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• •Trusted teamwork and coaching skills

Tasks

• •Lead the development of quantum operation protocols for multi-qubit systems
• •Conduct experimental research to enhance the performance of diamond-based devices
• •Develop quantum metrology and benchmarking protocols for diamond-based systems
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum hardware with classical systems
• •Design and execute complex experiments independently
• •Perform detailed data analysis and prepare technical reports
• •Mentor junior engineers in best practices and high-quality outcomes
• •Stay updated on advancements in quantum information science and technology
• •Contribute to the company's intellectual property through patents and publications
