Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field
  • Proven experience in major Aerospace projects involving complex electronic systems
  • 5+ years in a technical lead role within Aerospace avionics or systems engineering
  • Experience in working with complex safety related embedded system certification
  • Know-how in applying RTCA DO-178C, DO-330, DO-254, SAE ARP4754A, ESA ECSS-E-ST-10/40/50, and/or NASA NPR 7150.2D standards
  • Excellent command of English with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Tasks

  • Attend product lifecycle reviews
  • Participate in verification and nonconformance review boards
  • Guide and approve product offerings in Change Control Boards
  • Provide technology status reports and risk registers
  • Develop technology roadmaps and conduct trade studies
  • Make make-or-buy decisions considering customer perspectives
  • Define efficient development under certification constraints
  • Ensure product quality and performance
  • Defend development and certification approaches to customers
  • Perform internal audits for product quality and certification
