Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field
  • Several years professional experience embedded software development
  • Knowledge of development processes for safety-critical development (aviation, space, medical, automotive, DO-178C, ECSS-E-ST-40 or similar)
  • Experience leading software development teams and managing suppliers
  • Ability to create inspiring, visionary, motivating work atmosphere
  • Experience with project management and business processes
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and organize work internationally
  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Supervise embedded software development
  • Oversee technical activities
  • Plan and allocate project resources
  • Determine training and capability needs
  • Provide domain expertise to product managers
  • Consult on technical sales activities
  • Lead the team to deliver high-quality results
  • Manage project scope and timelines

  • Collaborate with technical leaders on estimations and plans
  • Optimize domain-specific processes, procedures, and workflows
  • Execute management and board decisions
  • Inform superiors of important issues
