Requirements

  • Completed university degree in technical field (e.g., electronics, computer science, informatics, aerospace engineering)
  • Several years of project management experience, ideally in aerospace/space industry
  • Project management education and/or certification (e.g., PMI, PMP) is an asset
  • Preferably strong knowledge of embedded systems
  • Familiarity with space engineering standards (e.g., NASA NPR7150, DO254, DO178, ECSS) of advantage
  • Leadership skills with structured, focused, goal-oriented approach
  • Open communication skills for complex technical topics
  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost
  • Drive comprehensive project planning
  • Set up projects professionally
  • Track project progress
  • Steer project execution
  • Develop solution concepts with technical leads
  • Create work breakdown structures with technical leads
  • Estimate project efforts with technical leads
  • Develop resource plans with technical leads
  • Manage the customer interface
  • Represent customers internally
  • Coordinate and lead project team members
  • Coordinate and lead international partners and suppliers
  • Moderate technical discussions
  • Foster strategic decision-making
  • Perform organizational tasks for Space projects
  • Provide ongoing reports to management and stakeholders
  • Provide predictive reports to management and stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree
