Tasks
- Lead monthly forecasting and annual budget cycles for the DACH region
- Embed analytical rigor and scenario thinking in commercial planning
- Own the monthly consensus process for forecasting
- Deliver insight-led, technology-enabled forecast narratives to leadership
- Articulate forecast performance, reasons, and actions
- Pressure test forecasts using scenario analysis
- Assess forecast robustness with sensitivity modelling
- Identify upside and downside risks early
- Analyze sales targets to enable proactive course correction
- Ensure confident delivery against commitments
- Own the regional Risk & Opportunity (R&O) process
- Drive actions to realize opportunities and mitigate risks
- Partner with SS&A, Supply, Sales, and Marketing on R&O
- Actively challenge and action risks
- Use leading indicators to reassess forecast confidence
- Leverage forecasting tools and dashboards
- Enhance visibility and decision-making speed
- Improve forecast accuracy
- Partner with analytics teams to improve forecasting methodologies
- Partner with systems teams to improve data quality
- Partner with data teams to improve automation
- Translate complex analytical outputs into commercial insights
- Provide actionable insights for local teams
- Act as a thought partner to DACH commercial leadership
- Ensure forecasts reflect local market dynamics
- Ensure forecasts reflect customer behavior
- Ensure forecasts reflect execution risks
- Embed in the local business rhythm
- Ensure planning outputs are practical and relevant
- Ensure planning outputs are actionable for teams
- Operate as a member of the Global Commercial Planning team
- Operate as a member of the local DACH team
- Ensure alignment with global and local organizations
