Senior Key Client Account Manager DACH(m/w/x)
Strategic client management and new business acquisition for large corporate insurance clients. Extensive strategic sales and C-level stakeholder management experience required. Focus on strategic client portfolio development.
Requirements
- Extensive, relevant professional experience in strategic sales, key account, or broker management, preferably in international large corporate insurance
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, or comparable discipline (Master's/MBA preferred)
- Excellent network with large corporate clients and in-house brokers (DACH)
- Long-standing experience with boards, executive management, C-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in strategic broker and key account management
- Strong intercultural competence and experience with international, multidisciplinary teams
- In-depth, cross-line-of-business expertise with core specialization; senior underwriter experience advantageous
- Strong leadership personality, high influence, and assertiveness
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, outstanding communication, confidence, personal maturity
- Fluency in German and English (written/spoken); additional languages advantageous
- Very good IT skills (Office 365, Salesforce)
Tasks
- Develop strategies to stabilize the existing portfolio
- Develop and deepen important client relationships
- Acquire new clients in the assigned region
- Achieve allocated new business targets
- Strategically and proactively manage large corporate clients
- Strategically and proactively manage in-house brokers
- Coordinate AIG sales activities across business lines
- Coordinate AIG sales activities across countries and functions
- Actively manage long-term relationships with top decision-makers
- Design, coordinate, and execute executive meetings
- Design, coordinate, and execute annual and account reviews
- Design, coordinate, and execute exclusive client events
- Represent AIG at national and international industry events
- Represent AIG at conferences, forums, and C-level formats
- Achieve sales and profitability targets
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage and stabilize the client portfolio
- Drive portfolio growth and new business
- Ensure high client satisfaction
- Lead, coordinate, and orchestrate virtual, international account teams
- Develop and implement complex client growth and development plans
- Confidently escalate complex client situations
- Manage stakeholders in complex client or project situations
- Effectively use and govern sales and CRM systems
- Prepare management reports
- Conduct KPI analyses
- Create senior management presentations
