Requirements
- Proven track record acquiring enterprise business
- Experience selling to and network in territory
- Direct field experience
- Extensive network of key contacts in territory
- Experience with security technologies, CDN, web analytics, website performance, cloud storage, mobile content delivery, or managed web hosting highly desired
- Proven track record of effective outbound prospecting
- Managing sophisticated enterprise sales cycles
- Accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Familiarity with current industry trends
- Authority regarding role of SAAS
- Strong work ethic
- Winning mentality
- Proven navigation of End User requirements definition through contracting and resale processes mandatory
- Independent and self-disciplined
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion and enthusiasm for storytelling
- Ability to present Fastly story convincingly
- Technical knowledge or background highly desirable
- Fluent German and English essential
Tasks
- Develop and execute territory Go-to-Market plan
- Drive pipeline, sales, and revenue
- Meet or exceed quota goals
- Lead sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Utilize consultative selling approach
- Address business needs of hybrid cloud and legacy IT systems
- Collaborate with sales partners and channel team
- Conduct demand generation activities
- Direct and manage Demand Creation campaigns
- Prepare and lead proposals, quotes, and contracts
- Use SFDC and sales tools for account management
- Forecast opportunities and track prospecting activity
- Build target lists using reports
