Requirements

  • Proven work experience of 7+ years in account management or relevant role
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and demands while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in a complex matrix with clients and partners
  • Knowledge of business and technology trends and industry best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in IT, Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree
  • Consultative selling experience in technical solutions
  • Relationship management experience
  • Subject matter expertise in 1+ areas (e.g. Cloud, Network, Cybersecurity, AI)
  • Cross-functional team management experience
  • Communication skills in a complex matrix with clients and partners

Tasks

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer account management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions
  • Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients
  • Identify areas for improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify growth opportunities
  • Manage challenging client requests or issue escalations
  • Take charge of customer satisfaction and account P&L
  • Ensure account compliance and maintain a stellar reputation
