Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in energy, power, or infrastructure sector, preferably with exposure to BESS, renewables, or grid technologies
  • Strong understanding of energy market fundamentals, investment drivers, regulatory frameworks, with focus on EMEA markets
  • Experience with utilities, IPPs, developers, EPCs, or engineering firms (strong advantage)
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience building/maintaining techno-economic or financial models
  • Solid understanding of commercial contracts and technical requirements in complex infrastructure projects
  • Ability to structure and communicate complex technical-commercial topics clearly
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or comparable discipline; advantageous additional engineering/technical background
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset; ability to operate effectively in matrix organization
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluency in English; advantageous additional European languages

Tasks

  • Support regional sales organizations across EMEA and priority markets.
  • Shape the go-to-market strategy for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Identify and develop new market segments and applications.
  • Develop new business models and sales channels.
  • Develop new contracting and delivery models.
  • Analyze market fundamentals.
  • Perform market and customer segmentation by region and application.
  • Support regional and application-specific go-to-market plans.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing activities with Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop value propositions, messaging, and market-facing materials.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders at commercial and regulatory levels.
  • Conduct techno-economic modeling of BESS use cases.
  • Capture customer commercial, technical, and application requirements.
  • Provide structured input to Product Management on customer needs, regulatory requirements, and market gaps.
  • Support and lead commercial and technical negotiations with customers and partners.
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of BESS platforms and offerings.
  • Provide technical-commercial guidance to sales teams on solution configuration and costing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and executable deal structures.
