Requirements

  • •University degree in computer science, mathematics, or comparable qualification with strong IT focus
  • •At least 5 years of experience in software or platform engineering, ideally in cloud environment
  • •Solid knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code, ideally with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools
  • •Experience in building and operating enterprise-wide AI or data platforms with focus on scalability, performance, and user experience
  • •Practical experience in machine learning or generative AI, together with knowledge in modern programming languages and API technologies
  • •Deep understanding of IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements
  • •Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage

  • •Develop scalable and secure AI platforms
  • •Operate high-performance AI solutions in cloud environments
  • •Support the entire AI lifecycle from data preparation to production
  • •Automate infrastructure and workflows using DevOps and MLOps
  • •Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers on APIs and services
  • •Ensure platform quality, stability, and security
  • •Monitor and document platform observability and compliance
  • •Engage with the BMW AI Community and share best practices
  • •Evaluate new technological trends and contribute to AI development
