Description

As a Senior AI Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation, developing cutting-edge platforms that enhance connected vehicles. Your role involves optimizing AI models, mentoring engineers, and ensuring seamless integration between in-vehicle and cloud systems.

Requirements

• •University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or comparable qualification
• •At least five years of professional experience in AI platform engineering, AI training & inference, or AI tooling
• •Track record of leading and implementing large and complex technical AI solutions
• •Experience with AI solutions on the edge or excitement to transfer knowledge to the in-vehicle domain
• •Hands-on experience in machine learning or generative AI and proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Node.js/Nest.js, Java/Kotlin, or Go
• •Deep understanding of cloud architectures, container orchestration, and (ML)Ops of scalable cloud services
• •Very good written and spoken English skills; knowledge of German is an advantage

Tasks

• •Build and operate AI platforms for data pipelines
• •Train, deploy, and run AI models
• •Optimize AI models using suitable ML and LLM approaches
• •Provide technical leadership and ownership of architecture across teams
• •Mentor engineers to achieve operational excellence in AI systems
• •Analyze stakeholder requirements and translate them into scalable AI platform features
• •Ensure reliability and performance of AI-based systems
• •Develop cost-efficient operational solutions for AI systems
• •Create solutions for interoperability and load distribution between in-vehicle and cloud platforms
• •Develop data and context management solutions for personalized AI experiences
