Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in Sales or Business Development within logistics or freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record in developing new business and managing key accounts within DACH region
  • Experience with tender management, pricing models, and contract negotiations in B2B logistics
  • Familiarity with international logistics processes (Road, Air, Ocean, Rail) and related customer requirements
  • Fluent English and German language skills; additional language skills welcome
  • Solid understanding of international transport and logistics operations
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to present complex logistics solutions clearly and compellingly

Tasks

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategy
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Generate new leads and manage prospecting activities
  • Conduct client meetings and negotiations
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Manage full sales cycle from lead to closure
  • Participate in tenders and prepare quotations
  • Collaborate with Tender Management and Operations
  • Ensure competitive pricing and cost calculations
  • Monitor market and competitor activities
  • Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and events
  • Collaborate with internal teams for project success
