- PhD in Physics, Quantum Technology, Computer Science, or related
- Equivalent practical experience after MSc
- Experimental experience with quantum control and benchmarking
- Hands-on experience with electronics for superconducting qubit control
- Background in experimental quantum hardware environments
Tasks
- Develop software for quantum control
- Implement calibration and benchmarking software
- Contribute to single- and two-qubit gate operations
- Build calibration routines for superconducting processors
- Maintain and improve calibration automation
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with technical teams to enhance QPU performance
- Participate in regular calibration activities
- Engage in experimental workflows
- Analyze and document results
- Report findings to technical stakeholders
- Contribute to scientific and technical planning
- Mentor junior engineers and interns
- Support newcomers in the team
- Guide technical focus areas
- Advise on software development practices
- Participate in architectural and technical leadership
