Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline, or technical qualification with relevant experience
  • Hands-on Engineering role experience with Electrical and Mechanical
  • Familiarity with pneumatics, mechanics, electronics, RF technology, metrology, laser technologies (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills (software, electronic, optical, mechanical)
  • Proficiency in computer systems and operating environments (e.g., MS Windows)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Willingness and availability to travel within UK and Europe (approx. 70%), occasional international travel

Tasks

  • Install and operate advanced systems at customer sites
  • Deploy PVD, Etch, and CVD tools

  • Troubleshoot complex system issues
  • Use data analysis and structured problem-solving
  • Manage critical issues across sites and regions
  • Lead post-installation meetings
  • Verify tool performance
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct application testing
  • Confirm operational quality
  • Maintain regular communication
  • Participate in escalation meetings
  • Deliver training to global support teams
