Requirements
- •PhD in relevant Life Science field
- •Several years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech research
- •Recognized scientific excellence through high-impact publications and conference presentations
- •Expertise in renal pathophysiology and its interplay with cardiovascular, metabolic, or immune mechanisms
- •Solid understanding of the drug discovery process
- •Advanced laboratory skills in cell culture, cellular analytics, functional cellular assay development, and molecular biology
- •Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- •Effective communication of complex data across functions
- •Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- •German skills are an advantage

Tasks
- •Drive the development of a sustainable renal disease research portfolio
- •Provide strategic guidance and act as Biology Lead for in vitro pharmacology
- •Design and innovate functional in vitro disease models for drug discovery
- •Lead technology teams to promote agile resource management
- •Engage in Disease Biology Communities and propose novel targets
- •Coach and mentor scientists and technical staff to foster collaboration
- •Collaborate with disciplines and external partners to align with R&D strategy
- •Develop and implement new research strategies for cardiovascular and renal programs
