Postdoc TAM (Machine Learning)(m/w/x)

Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
• Expertise in classical machine-learning and deep-learning methodologies
• Experience developing end-to-end machine-learning pipelines
• Knowledge of generative modeling or Large Language Models
• Familiarity with clinical development processes
• Strong proficiency in R
• Experience with R Shiny, R Markdown, and Quarto
• Development or publication of R packages
• Solid programming skills in Python
• Knowledge of IT and high-performance computing
• Track record of publishing scientific work
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Tasks

• Identify and implement innovative machine learning methods
• Evaluate multivariate statistical prediction models
• Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
• Perform model assessment and explainable AI
• Execute optimized feature engineering
• Develop deep learning for signal processing and computer vision
• Translate research into software and graphical user interfaces
• Produce technical reports and scientific publications
• Supervise bachelor’s and master’s students
• Build and maintain networks with academic institutions
• Present findings at internal and external meetings
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals
• Train colleagues on statistical learning methods
• Collaborate with internal experts on data science initiatives
