Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in concrete materials or related building materials industry
  • Concrete production knowledge and direct experience with plant engineering
  • Ability to understand operational, technical, commercial, and financial aspects
  • Ability to apply technical recommendations pragmatically
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to engage people in data-driven culture
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Strong communication skills to all levels in an international environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Strong ability to coach and motivate peers without direct authority
  • Strong English spoken and written skills; other languages relevant to Europe are a plus

Tasks

  • Drive performance improvement by enhancing operational and financial KPIs
  • Implement review cycles for operational and financial KPIs
  • Assist operations in adhering to minimum required operating practices
  • Ensure timely assembly of resources for performance improvement initiatives
  • Plan and lead optimization visits for RMC operations
  • Follow up on improvement opportunities with local management
  • Coordinate communication and initiatives with country managers
  • Collaborate with local managers to promote best practices
  • Transfer best practices across the organization
  • Deliver training modules with the Knowledge & Training Department
  • Work with Global CCR and other functions to shape RMC business
