Requirements

  • Strong commercial background in partner acquisition, business development, or sales
  • Proven experience closing ISV or integration partnerships
  • Knowledge of fintech, card-present payments, or POS market
  • Experience within the fintech, card-present payments, or POS industry
  • Comfortable navigating technical conversations
  • Solid understanding of API and SDK integrations
  • Solid understanding of software development processes
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in French
  • Additional languages are a strong advantage
  • Experience building and owning a sales pipeline independently
  • Ability to work without relying on inbound leads or extensive support
  • Willingness to learn and develop career

Tasks

  • Identify high-potential ISVs in key European markets
  • Build a deal pipeline through research and direct outreach
  • Leverage personal network to find new partnerships
  • Lead partnership cycle from start to finish
  • Understand ISV needs and present SumUp's API and SDK value
  • Negotiate commercial agreements beneficial to both parties
  • Collaborate with ISVs and internal teams for smooth integrations
  • Work with engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure timely launches
  • Provide market intelligence to shape product direction
  • Influence partnership strategy based on field insights
