Requirements
- Strong commercial background in partner acquisition, business development, or sales
- Proven experience closing ISV or integration partnerships
- Knowledge of fintech, card-present payments, or POS market
- Experience within the fintech, card-present payments, or POS industry
- Comfortable navigating technical conversations
- Solid understanding of API and SDK integrations
- Solid understanding of software development processes
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French
- Additional languages are a strong advantage
- Experience building and owning a sales pipeline independently
- Ability to work without relying on inbound leads or extensive support
- Willingness to learn and develop career
Tasks
- Identify high-potential ISVs in key European markets
- Build a deal pipeline through research and direct outreach
- Leverage personal network to find new partnerships
- Lead partnership cycle from start to finish
- Understand ISV needs and present SumUp's API and SDK value
- Negotiate commercial agreements beneficial to both parties
- Collaborate with ISVs and internal teams for smooth integrations
- Work with engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure timely launches
- Provide market intelligence to shape product direction
- Influence partnership strategy based on field insights
