Requirements

  • •Knowledge of hardware: servers, storage systems, network switches, cabling
  • •Experience in structured network cabling setup and maintenance
  • •Basic knowledge of power supply and cooling in data centers
  • •Basic knowledge of networking: VLAN, routing, switching, VPN
  • •Experience with ITSM systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, PRTG)
  • •Knowledge in compliance and security (ISO 27001, access control, data protection)
  • •Experience with on-call and standby services
  • •Completed IT training or comparable professional experience
  • •Experience with infrastructure and hardware in data centers
  • •Willingness to work shifts and on-call services
  • •Fluent in German and good command of English
  • •Driver's license class B required

Tasks

  • •Provide hands-on support for servers, storage, and network components
  • •Monitor and perform basic physical checks on temperature, power supply, and cabling
  • •Conduct general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep as per customer instructions
  • •Assist with hardware rollouts and installations during site expansions
  • •Execute IMAC processes for infrastructure hardware
  • •Document changes in spare parts, asset, and ticket systems
  • •Adhere to safety and access policies in the data center
  • •Ensure compliance with established quality standards
