Medical Scientific Liaison - Neurology(m/w/x)
Peer-to-peer medical information exchange in Neurology with thought leaders and key decision-makers at a health solutions provider focused on women's health and biosimilars. Deep scientific knowledge in Neurology and clinical trial data interpretation required. Field-based role with significant travel to medical events and key opinion leader meetings.
Requirements
- Strong scientific baseline knowledge in assigned therapeutic area(s)
- Strong knowledge about clinical trial methods, implementation, and data interpretation
- Sound scientific understanding and eagerness to continue learning about a specific therapeutic area
- Ability to present scientific and technical information with confidence
- Excellent communication skills, including listening and probing skills
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to function within a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Medical degree, PhD in health sciences, PharmD or equivalent Life Sciences degree
- At least 2 years’ field medical experience as an MSL or equivalent
- Fluent in German and English
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) and interpersonal skills
- Experienced in scientific exchange and contacts with health care professionals
- Excellent team player and strong collaboration skills
- Excellent project management and planning skills
- Scientific knowledge of the therapeutic area is a plus
- Ability to satisfy all applicable travel and credentialing requirements
Tasks
- Engage in peer-to-peer exchange of medical and scientific information with SLs and KDMs
- Gain insights on disease, therapeutic areas, and healthcare needs
- Represent Medical Affairs at non-promotional medical events
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information
- Direct SLs and KDMs to resources for company research and grant activities
- Organize and participate in medical exchange activities, including lectures and advisory boards
- Share publicly available information with SLs and guide them to resources
- Provide medical/scientific support for Health Technology Assessments and formulary decisions
- Conduct Advisory Boards and Expert Input Forums according to strategy
- Support the development and implementation of Medical Affairs Plans
- Provide insights on scientific gaps and development programs
- Deliver scientific training to commercial colleagues when requested
- Support patient access programs with scientific information
- Identify potential study investigators for sponsored studies
