- Experience with MRP manufacturing processes
- Experience with advanced supplier relationships
- At least 3 years leadership experience

Tasks
- Plan and control direct materials
- Develop and implement materials strategy
- Lead materials project initiatives
- Optimize material flow for lean and continuous improvement
- Manage indirect labor productivity in materials department
- Monitor inventory turns and on-time shipping
- Ensure order fill rate and reduce days past due
- Optimize materials management activities
- Schedule production and manage inventory control
- Oversee materials movement and supplier performance
- Implement and support Materials and SIOP standard work processes
- Facilitate interaction with Sourcing, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Accounting, and Quality Assurance
- Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming processes and suppliers
- Select, develop, and evaluate materials personnel
- Drive improvement initiatives like digitizing planning and demand reporting
- Manage supplier deliveries in lean manufacturing environment
- Plan, evaluate, organize, integrate, and delegate tasks
- Assign jobs based on staff requirements
- Support Global Procurement Commodity Leaders in supplier selection
- Develop and implement professional development program for materials personnel
- Align production plan with SIOP consensus plan
- Improve supplier relationships
- Perform other assigned duties
