Description

In this role, you will oversee the global network infrastructure, leading a skilled team to ensure high-performance and secure network services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve strategic planning, performance monitoring, and collaboration with IT teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

• •Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable technical qualification
• •Several years of professional experience in Network Operations, ideally in a global and complex IT environment
• •Deep expertise in network technologies such as routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and cloud networking (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• •Proficient in using network management tools and protocols (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Cisco Prime, SolarWinds)
• •Strong knowledge of network security, including implementation and monitoring of protective measures and awareness of current threat landscapes
• •Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide teams through change
• •Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence
• •Strategic mindset combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style
• •Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• •Willingness to travel occasionally in an international context

Tasks

• •Lead and develop a high-performing Network Operations team
• •Plan, implement, and maintain the global network infrastructure
• •Monitor network performance and availability
• •Conduct performance analysis and manage incident resolution
• •Define and implement network standards and policies
• •Ensure network security with technical safeguards
• •Collaborate with internal IT teams and external service providers
• •Manage the network operations budget and optimize costs
• •Initiate and lead innovation projects for network improvement
• •Maintain documentation and knowledge management of network processes
