Loads & Aeroelastics Engineer with focus on structure(m/w/x)

Description

You will ensure aircraft stability by performing complex flutter analyses and modal calculations. Your work validating models against flight test data is vital for securing international certifications.

Requirements

• •Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• •Competencies in FEM for Aeroelastics
• •Ideally competencies in flutter control
• •Experience in project management
• •Theoretical know-how in supplier management
• •High motivation and open-minded personality
• •Great sense of initiative
• •Ability to deal with complex physics
• •Strong communication skills
• •English at negotiating level
• •German language skills or willingness to learn
• •Awareness of potential compliance risks
• •Commitment to act with integrity

Tasks

• •Generate flutter models by integrating structure, mass, and aerodynamics
• •Incorporate electronic flight control system models into simulations
• •Model dynamic aircraft systems with linearized flight control laws
• •Ensure accurate modeling of associated actuators
• •Support flight vibration tests and evaluate results
• •Validate theoretical models using flight test data
• •Correct models to match real-world flight results
• •Perform modal analysis and vibration calculations
• •Execute aeroelastic stability calculations for aircraft design
• •Support aircraft optimization and certification processes
