Lead Technical Account Manager – Cloud Infrastructure & Strategic Accounts(m/w/x)
Developing strategic partnerships for VPS, bare-metal, and AI/GPU workloads at a global cloud provider. Several years of TAM or CSM experience in cloud infrastructure required. Remote or hybrid work with flexible hours and EU workation option.
Requirements
- Several years experience as TAM, CSM, or EAM in cloud/hosting/infrastructure
- Solid technical understanding of VPS, bare-metal, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to engage with engineers, DevOps, and technical decision-makers
- Up-to-date market knowledge in cloud/infrastructure space
- Familiarity with competitors, trends, and technological shifts
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and market developments
- Track AI impact on infrastructure, workloads, and customer needs
- Experience with strategic customer development (expansion, retention, NRR)
- Experience with OBR/QBR formats or comparable executive reviews
- Experience leading teams
- Structured, analytical, and data-driven approach
- Excellent German language skills
- Excellent English language skills
- Experience with CRM, usage, or account health tools
- International experience
- Willingness to travel regularly and attend events
Tasks
- Strategically develop key international accounts
- Focus on long-term growth and stable customer relationships
- Transform OBRs into management tools for customer relationships
- Lead OBR processes and establish data-driven standards
- Advise technical contacts on VPS, bare-metal, and AI/GPU workloads
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Support to develop scalable setups
- Lead and develop the three-person KAM team
- Establish standards, role definitions, and prioritization
- Represent Contabo at customer and tech events
- Integrate customer feedback into product and operations
