- Practical experience with EMC design, testing, and certification
- Worked with battery management systems
- Worked with robotic power distribution architectures
- Designed hardware interfaces for AI inference modules
- Designed hardware interfaces for sensor arrays
- Designed hardware interfaces for autonomous navigation systems
- Contributed to design-for-manufacture processes
- Collaborated with contract electronics manufacturers
Tasks
- Define and own electronic architecture for marine robotic systems
- Ensure consistency across hardware, software, AI, and navigation interfaces
- Lead component selection and define electronic design standards
- Collaborate with AI and software engineers for on-board inference and sensor fusion
- Work with navigation and control engineers to meet guidance and real-time control requirements
- Design schematics and PCB layouts with mechatronics engineers
- Mentor and guide electronics engineers in design reviews and documentation
- Drive validation and verification campaigns, define test strategies
- Perform hardware bring-up and lead electrical troubleshooting
- Produce and maintain comprehensive design documentation
- Ensure 2D/3D deliverables and manufacturing packages meet quality standards
