Tasks
- Advise USAFE A5/8 leadership and stakeholders on knowledge management.
- Research, develop, design, implement, and maintain knowledge management capabilities.
- Assist in developing directorate knowledge management policies, guidance, and style guides.
- Coach and train A5/8 team members and stakeholders to foster a sustainable KM culture.
- Prepare, provide, and maintain training materials for training objectives.
- Modernize workflows and create a centralized knowledge repository using AI tools and Microsoft platforms.
- Support KM and business process initiatives, including administrative support and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with SharePoint and MAVEN knowledge managers to create a user-friendly repository.
- Elicit, analyze, and document existing workflows from subject matter experts.
- Develop and formalize simplified standard operating procedures and process flowcharts.
- Apply records management principles to structure and organize information logically.
- Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems and coordinate with network administrators.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, system documentation, and tune system performance.
- Assist the government customer with data input and reconciliation in enterprise-level systems.
- Provide operation and upkeep of knowledge management systems like SharePoint and MAVEN.
- Deliver recommendation reports and operating procedures for knowledge management plans.
- Evaluate vendor products and recommend hardware and software for knowledge management systems.
- Develop and monitor policies and standards for computing resource allocation.
- Strengthen connections to aid information exchange within IT systems.
- Maintain and update KM artifacts, archives, and remove outdated content.
- Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of applicable systems and environments.
- Manage a KM system for storage, retrieval, and sharing of information.
- Provide user support services for training materials and events.
- Create and deliver training materials and sessions for KM and KM IT applications.
- Conduct interviews with diverse stakeholders and distill complex details into simple steps.
- Support the development of strategic documents, implementation plans, and reports.
