Requirements
- Self-starting, reliability, and follow-through on promises

- Basic to solid knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and identity concepts
- Basic networking knowledge (WiFi, IP addressing, VPN concepts)
- Good interpersonal relationship skills and excellent written/oral English skills
- Prior IT support or service desk experience
- Degree in Computer Science or similar, equivalent hands-on experience, or Microsoft Professional Certification
- Basic Linux familiarity
- Curiosity about infrastructure, cloud, security, or systems engineering
- Dependability on fundamentals
Tasks
- Support IT hardware and meeting room technology.
- Support Windows and Mac devices.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications.
- Resolve user access issues.
- Manage IT onboarding, including device setup.
- Manage IT offboarding, including device return.
- Perform access checks for joiners and leavers.
- Resolve basic connectivity issues (WiFi, VPN, peripherals).
- Escalate complex IT issues as needed.
- Maintain the IT device inventory.
- Assist with device lifecycle management.
- Log and track service desk requests.
- Resolve service desk requests following procedures.
- Document common IT issues and solutions.
- Contribute to IT runbooks and knowledge bases.
- Follow access, security, and change processes.
- Act as on-site IT contact in Berlin.
- Coordinate vendors for IT repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure meeting rooms and office tech are operational.
- Support office IT logistics.
- Travel to other ICE sites for support.
- Attend team events at other ICE sites.
