IT Support Specialist 2nd Level - Security(m/w/x)
Security escalation and support for machine-learning-based solutions on an all-in-one IT platform. Practical experience with MDM systems for security policy enforcement and hands-on SOC/EDR/IAM exposure required. Public transportation ticket, Urban Sports Club membership.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship as IT specialist for system administration or system administrator through professional development with interest or experience in IT security
- Practical experience using MDM systems to enforce security policies, application controls, and conditional access rules
- Hands-on exposure to security operations centers (SOC), endpoint protection (EDR/XDR), identity & access management (IAM), and/or compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz)
- Deep understanding of hardening and securing Windows operating system with security frameworks STIGs, Microsoft 365, and/or Google Workspace
- Proficiency in English (C1)
- Enjoyment of working with diverse customer groups, patience, and strong security-first service approach
- Hands-on, solution-oriented work style with high sense of responsibility regarding security matters
Tasks
- Act as the primary security escalation point for customers and 1st level support
- Handle complex security incidents and inquiries
- Provide technical support for machine-learning–based security solutions
- Solve complex problems for customers
- Respond to customer inquiries with solution-oriented assistance
- Assist with primarily cloud-based technologies
- Conduct security audits and compliance checks for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
- Guide customers on implementing security best practices
- Support the IT Ops team in enhancing support processes
- Automate support processes
