Tasks

  • Liaise with service providers for solution commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning
  • Gain management approval for IT solution implementation or changes
  • Follow IMT guidelines for technical matters, including change requests
  • Provide hardware support for infrastructure, workplace, and personal equipment
  • Coordinate hardware delivery and pickup with service providers and procurement
  • Unpack, store, or dispatch equipment to users or facilities
  • Stage or configure devices
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting with backend engineers
  • Repair defective hardware parts
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations
  • Perform data backup and recovery
  • Change printer cartridges and clear paper jams
  • Facilitate destruction of legacy storage hardware
  • Rack and un-rack equipment
  • Ensure end-to-end hardware connectivity
  • Ensure appropriate power supply to active elements
  • Visually check active elements in server, technical, and meeting rooms
  • Maintain a pool of ICT equipment
  • Coordinate ICT Fixed Asset management with relevant parties
  • Calculate safety stocks based on market conditions
  • Initiate purchase orders for local IT equipment
  • Track equipment dispatches or allocations
  • Answer how-to questions and reinforce self-service tools
  • Troubleshoot issues, including isolation and root cause analysis
  • Reroute incidents or requests to the correct IMT team
  • Escalate issues to IMT second-level support
  • Provide limited support for specialized applications and tools
  • Support hybrid meetings on Microsoft TEAMS, ZOOM, and other platforms
  • Manage AV equipment in the Hub
  • Prepare and test AV equipment before meetings
