Requirements

  • •Enrollment in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
  • •Knowledge of power systems or grid-tied inverter control
  • •Experience handling high power inverter tests
  • •Good knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems
  • •Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • •Basic knowledge of DigSilent, Plecs, or similar platforms
  • •Ideally, experience in control system design for power electronic inverters
  • •Structured working style, initiative, and creativity
  • •Teamwork, communication skills, and motivation
  • •Enthusiasm and quality orientation
  • •Fluent written and spoken English

Currently in higher education

Tasks

  • •Simulate grid-tied inverter control for PV and battery storage
  • •Develop control and diagnostic algorithm models using MBD tools
  • •Provide technical insight for grid-forming inverter control
  • •Support technical cooperation regarding power systems and inverter control
  • •Collaborate with headquarters to test and verify inverter performance
