Requirements

  • •Student in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Control Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • •Good understanding of renewable power/energy systems and battery operation
  • •Solid understanding of optimization concepts; AI/ML and Big Data skills plus
  • •Experience with Python, Modelica or equivalent modeling environments; Linux experience plus
  • •Experience in SoX estimation for LFP batteries strong plus
  • •Familiarity with optimization or AI/ML frameworks advantageous
  • •Fluent written and spoken English

Tasks

  • •Extend battery system models and controllers
  • •Develop and test new EMS control strategies
  • •Design and implement optimization-based scheduling algorithms
  • •Benchmark and compare different optimization approaches
  • •Analyze the performance of various algorithmic approaches
  • •Contribute to AI and ML forecasting modules
  • •Develop AI-driven decision support tools
  • •Validate systems using simulation frameworks and datasets
