Requirements

- Quick learner, adaptability to new tools, procedures, and technical environments
- Attention to detail, careful approach with sensitive electronic and electromechanical equipment
- Good communication, teamwork with diverse technical teams
- Practical problem-solving mindset
- Spoken and written English, commitment to learn French
- Nationality of CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Maximum two years professional experience since graduation in Mechanical or Electrical (or related field)
- Highest educational qualification: general secondary education diploma
- No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract
- Ability to work in Radiation Areas
- Ability to perform interventions in underground installations
- Valid driving licence
Tasks
- Remove equipment components for refurbishment or replacement.
- Install new instrumentation systems and upgrades across the complex.
- Track tasks using CERN's management tools.
- Provide updates in team meetings.
- Coordinate on-site progress with engineers, technicians, and other groups.
- Work across CERN's accelerator facilities.
- Follow all safety protocols.
- Ensure precise and clean technical interventions.
