- Knowledge of configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing network systems
- Teamwork and self-driven assignment completion
- Strong written and verbal communication, team building, and collaboration skills
- Active Secret security clearance
- DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
- BS degree plus 4-8 years relevant experience or Masters degree plus 2-6 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Tasks
- Coordinate with customers for initial test and acceptance
- Execute all reporting functions for new network equipment
- Complete data input for new service activations
- Configure and maintain DISA’s out-of-band management network
- Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices
- Create and update project planning documentation
- Select and create IP addressing schemes
- Assign ports on out-of-band management nodes
- Perform systems analysis and consult users for requirements
- Ensure information accuracy and proper formatting
- Verify points of contact for each location
- Engage DISA project managers to resolve issues
- Facilitate stakeholder approvals for service requests
- Order services on behalf of customers
- Input service requests into DISA Storefront
- Provide customer outreach for order accuracy
- Use SharePoint for data entry and order processing
