Requirements
- •Current US citizenship
- •Active DoD Secret clearance
- •Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
- •Bachelor's degree
- •8+ years of directly relevant experience
- •6+ years of hands-on NetApp/VMWARE vSphere/ESXI experience
- •Strong knowledge of NetApp/VMWARE concepts and best practices
- •Active DOD Secret level security clearance
- •VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization or Desktop Management
- •NetApp Certified Data Administrator
- •Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator
- •Citrix or VMware Horizon certification
- •8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification
- •Expert knowledge of NetApp, ESXi hosts, clusters, and vSAN/NAS/backup solutions
- •Establishment of security and cyber controls
- •Senior level knowledge of Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10/11
- •Knowledge of VMWare PhotonOS
- •Strong virtual infrastructure and storage background
- •System-level troubleshooting skills
- •Organization and attention to detail
- •Eagerness to learn new technologies
- •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- •Motivated, self-starting individual

Tasks
- •Support systems and applications on a Windows Enterprise network
- •Ensure effective operation and interconnectivity of a Department of Defense Network
- •Execute actions to correct deficiencies and improve system performance
- •Provide Tier 3 support for infrastructure design, implementation, and troubleshooting
- •Administer several hundred servers in the area of operation
- •Deliver remote support and travel to customer sites as needed
- •Manage VDI solutions, preferably VmWare Horizon
- •Follow technical guidance to maintain and evolve VDI environments
- •Identify risks and threats to VDI service delivery
- •Rapidly correct faults impacting service delivery
- •Develop and maintain VDI Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
- •Create and implement technical standards and documentation
- •Monitor processes for information systems
- •Collaborate with teams to optimize systems and drive efficiency
- •Track and report on customer experience improvements
- •Oversee Windows system administrator functions for global Active Directory
- •Communicate clearly and present ideas in a business-like manner
- •Work in dynamic environments requiring team coordination
- •Manage and monitor system resources for optimal performance
- •Perform capacity planning and implement best practices
- •Administer NetApp/VMware/CISCO systems, including installation and security hardening
- •Support automation of system administration tasks using scripting tools
- •Provide limited support for Windows and networking systems
- •Maintain all hardware and software components at vendor-supported levels
- •Maintain expert knowledge of NetApp, ESXi hosts, and backup solutions
- •Support mission-critical Continuity of Operations (COOP)
