Requirements

  • •Adjudicated TS/SCI clearance
  • •CCNA – Video (Collaboration)
  • •BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized experience or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized experience or major certification + 9 years recent specialized experience or 13 years of recent specialized experience
  • •TESA Eligibility
  • •IAT Level II or greater (Security +/CASP/etc)
  • •Proficient use of MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, Excel
  • •Strong technical writing, documentation, presentation and organizational skills
  • •ITIL v3 – Foundation
  • •Adaptability to changing circumstances and operational needs
  • •Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
  • •Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Vocational certification

Work Experience

5 years

Tasks

  • •Support VTC equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices
  • •Ensure system availability outside of maintenance windows
  • •Apply system and network hardening actions as directed
  • •Provide remote and direct support for VTC issues
  • •Perform preventative maintenance to detect faults early
  • •Maintain software and firmware on VTC devices for optimal performance
  • •Create and update standard operating procedure documentation for configurations
  • •Utilize SolarWinds and monitoring tools to enhance service quality and restore outages
