Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in quantitative market research
  • •Proven senior leadership experience managing a research department
  • •Excellence in process ownership, prioritization, and strategic execution
  • •Strong commercial mindset supporting sales and key account growth
  • •Confidence in senior stakeholder management
  • •Established or aspiring thought leader
  • •Fluency in English and full proficiency in German (C2 level)
  • •Combination of analytical rigor with empathy and hands-on leadership

  • •Define and drive the DACH research roadmap
  • •Launch initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • •Translate senior leadership strategy into clear team direction
  • •Lead and develop Research Team Leads
  • •Oversee workforce planning and hiring
  • •Foster team engagement and a high-performance culture
  • •Ensure high-quality research output and methodology adoption
  • •Lead upskilling initiatives and enforce process compliance
  • •Act as an escalation point for complex client or data issues
  • •Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success
  • •Support high-stakes pitches and strategic initiatives
  • •Maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) target of 80+
  • •Represent Appinio at events and conferences
