Requirements
- 7–12 years in brand, communications, or content in B2B tech, startup, or scaleup environment
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams
- Ability to build trust, structure, and momentum, particularly in phases of change
- Energized by turning strategy into execution
- Ability to roll up sleeves, set priorities, and get things done
- Understanding of how brand supports Sales, Product, and GTM in B2B context
- Ability to communicate complex technology clearly and compellingly
- Background leans toward brand communications or content strategy
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in German
- Comfortable working in an international, hybrid team
Tasks
- Lead, develop, and stabilize Brand Ops, Design, and Content teams
- Build a clear team culture and structured ways of working
- Establish strong individual development paths for team members
- Partner with the Lead Brand Strategist
- Act as the link between brand strategy and execution
- Translate positioning, frameworks, and campaign concepts into deliverables
- Define concrete deliverables, timelines, and priorities
- Oversee the Brand Ops function as project management
- Ensure efficient workflows and reliable delivery across Design and Content
- Ensure quality and consistency across all brand outputs
- Manage brand outputs for digital and print
- Manage written content and international localization
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and playbooks
- Develop and maintain naming strategy
- Partner with senior leadership, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation
- Align messaging and creative execution
- Explore how new technologies, including AI, can improve team speed and impact
- Immerse yourself in brand strategy
- Understand brand portfolio, positioning, and creative identity
- Build strong working relationships with the Lead Brand Strategist
- Establish clear collaboration frameworks
- Identify design or content workflows needing improvement
- Propose solutions for workflow improvements
- Develop understanding of the annual roadmap
- Align quarterly plans across Global Marketing
- Produce the quarterly Brand roadmap for the following quarter
