Description

In this role, you will lead the accounting team while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing strategic financial insights, overseeing audits, and refining accounting processes for fintech products.

Requirements

• •5+ years in complex accounting/financial reporting
• •Exceptional analytical and solution-oriented skills
• •Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting software
• •Comprehensive financial knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls
• •Fluent in German and English with very good communication skills
• •Ability to articulate complex financial concepts and collaborate with stakeholders

Tasks

• •Lead and grow the accounting team
• •Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department
• •Support the professional development of team members
• •Act as a strategic partner to senior management
• •Provide financial insights and recommendations
• •Design and implement accounting standards for BaFin compliance
• •Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• •Establish and maintain robust Internal Control Systems
• •Align accounting policies with German and international regulations
• •Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
• •Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports
• •Manage and coordinate the annual audit process
• •Serve as the primary contact for external auditors
• •Set up and improve accounting processes for fintech products
• •Ensure accurate revenue recognition and asset valuation
• •Act as the go-to expert for stakeholders on accounting matters
