Developing Trade Finance business with large German corporate clients at a major international bank. 10+ years successful commercial experience in Trade Finance and working capital solutions required. Frequent client travel across Germany.
Requirements
- Successful commercial experience in Trade Finance and working capital solutions (at least 10 years)
- Preferably contact with large corporate client base
- Awareness of German Trade Finance market and global financial landscape
- Higher education (BAC + 4/5 years)
- College degree (preferably in Economics and Business)
- Valued: CFA, MBA, MS or other specific Trade Finance training
- Bilingual German
- Fluent English
- Fluent Spanish (not strictly required)
- In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance products (Receivables Finance, Letters of Credit, Bonds, Forfaiting, Supply Chain Finance)
- Experience in structured working capital finance (Inventory Finance, Borrowing Base, Prepayment structures)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, client management skills
- Strong understanding of credit, country, operational risks
- Strong commercial sense (client first)

Tasks
- Follow up on existing business flows with BBVA Frankfurt clients.
- Develop existing business flows with large German groups.
- Identify new Trade Finance transactions with clients.
- Generate new Trade Finance transactions to optimize profitability.
- Control risks associated with new transactions.
- Offer clients working capital solutions (factoring, supply chain finance).
- Present clients with documentary credits.
- Provide clients with guarantees and standby letters of credit.
- Report to the Head of GTB Frankfurt.
- Report to GTB management in Madrid.
- Proactively follow up with clients.
- Identify client needs through an advisory approach.
- Provide appropriate advice and solutions to clients.
- Promote a sustainable finance approach with clients.
- Align client finance strategies with the bank's strategy.
- Coordinate with the Coverage team and support departments.
- Structure trade finance operations.
- Obtain all required authorizations.
- Ensure perfect execution of generated transactions.
- Comply with Bank policies during transaction execution.
- Quickly gain knowledge of all GTB products.
- Achieve versatility within the Agile GTB Frankfurt team.
