In this role, you will leverage your tactical expertise to develop operational plans and policies while collaborating with leaders to address complex defense challenges and provide strategic insights on foreign threats.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with land domain maneuvers
  • 2+ years of experience at the Division headquarters level or higher
  • Experience leading teams in Joint Planning Process or Military Decision-Making Planning process
  • Ability to rapidly develop plans, documents, and briefings for senior military and civilian leaders
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I Course
  • Experience working with multinational forces
  • Master's degree in Strategic Studies, National Security, or a related field
  • Graduate of advanced military planner school such as SAMS, SAW, SAAS, or JAWS
  • Eligibility for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance required
