Seismic interpretation and static modeling for geothermal and lithium resource evaluation. 5-8 years subsurface modeling experience required. 30 days vacation, mobile working option.

Requirements

  • University degree or PhD in geosciences or related discipline
  • At least 5–8 years of professional experience in exploration and subsurface modelling for fluid mining projects
  • High proficiency in industry-standard subsurface software (Petrel, GIS, WellCAD)
  • Basic project management experience and working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork, contributing technical expertise
  • Clear communication of complex technical topics with strong presentation skills
  • High motivation, initiative, reliability, and responsibility
  • Active alignment of technical work across disciplines and teams

Tasks

  • Assess and evaluate geological and geophysical data
  • Integrate and source legacy and new data into a centralized database
  • Perform seismic interpretation and static modeling
  • Evaluate geothermal and lithium resources
  • Define exploration needs
  • Develop asset-specific exploration and appraisal programs
  • Contribute to portfolio ranking and risking
  • Influence strategy for resource maturation
  • Support geophysical acquisition programs
  • Prepare initial well plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver industry-standard technical products
  • Create risk registers
  • Generate CRS maps
  • Conduct well-failure analyses
  • Produce PFS/DFS reports

  • 5 - 8 years

Education

  • Bachelor's degree
